Consultants & Engineers, Inc. (ICE) offers analysis and
design services to the process, transport, and power industries.
Our expertise pertains mainly to building / facility structures,
piping systems and the development of industrial OEM components.
We offer our services on a fixed-priced, task-defined basis
or a time-and-materials basis from our office in Trafford, locally
at customer sites and in some cases from our European office
located in Brno, Czech Republic. Our capabilities include structural
steel design, reinforced concrete design, foundations design,
piping stress analysis / design, finite element analysis (FEA
- stress, thermal, dynamic - linear and non-linear) and computational
fluid dynamics.
Our professional staff is comprised of experienced engineers
and analysts with broad backgrounds that encompass many different
industries including nuclear / fossil power, steel making, chemicals,
aerospace, machine tools, bio-medical devices and manufacturing,
including functions ranging from research / development to design
to academia. In addition, we strive for efficiency and as such,
our engineers and analysts are fully competent with current
technical software such as ANSYS, FLOTRAN, FLUENT, CFX, PRO-MECHANICA,
PIPE-Plus, CAESER, ALGOR, AUTOPIPE, STRUDL, STAAD, AutoCAD and
MicroStation / PowerDRAFT.
We work for a variety of well-known international customers,
but also support the local Pittsburgh area with industrial,
commercial and residential structural inspection services. ICE
